83 New COVID-19 Cases (67 O‘ahu, 14 Hawai‘i Island, 2 Maui); 3 Deaths

There were 83 new COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i today, including 67 on the island of O‘ahu, 14 on Hawai‘i Island and two on Maui, including one case in Kahului. Kaua‘i reported no new cases today. One of today’s new cases in Maui County was in Kahului.

UPDATE: Kahoma Fire Burns 10 Acres in West Maui, 100% Contained

A fire in the Kahoma area of West Maui has burned 10 acres and is 100% contained as of 3:41 p.m.  The fire was first reported at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in a ridge area mauka of the Lahaina Bypass.
