Following the successful rebranding of Lahaina Brew Co. – Upcountry, the brewery is expanding its guest experience with the launch of a chef-driven food truck led by Chef Nolan Gonzales.

In a significant decision aimed at amplifying the voices of the people of Maui, the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement has chosen to relocate its highly anticipated 22nd Annual Native Hawaiian Convention from Oʻahu to Maui. This year’s convention is scheduled to take place from Nov. 14-17, 2023, at the Maui Arts and Culture Center in Kahului, Maui.

The Hawai‘i Department of Health’s Food Safety Branch has issued a green placard to Thai Mee Up Kula 2 food truck and has allowed the food truck to reopen to the public after a followup inspection on Friday.

The event is the largest manufactured products show in Maui County, and was presented by the Maui Chamber of Commerce. It featured nearly 140 vendors and food trucks from Maui and Molokaʻi offering hundreds of locally made products.

Maui Sunday Market will hold a fun, family-friendly Halloween event on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kahului Shopping Center parking lot (65 West Ka‘ahumanu Ave., next to Burger King).

The Maui Sunday Market is relocating from its current spot at the Kahului Shopping Center to just down the road at 150 Hāna Highway in Kahului, home of MFTC’s Maui Street Market, starting July 10.
