Due to overwhelming demand, The Hua Momona Foundation is bringing the Maui Music & Food Experience to the Continent with a newly announced show in Chicago on Nov. 7 at the Copernicus Center’s Gateway Theater. The concert will bring together renowned musicians and world-class chefs to celebrate the aloha spirit and support the Hua Momona Foundation’s continued work across Maui.

On Thursday, March 6, acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ron Artis II will headline the evening along with ʻukulele master Kalei Gamiao. On Friday, March 7, Akoni Palomino will bring his signature blend of Hawaiian and reggae rhythms to the series. Both performances will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

ProArts Playhouse will host a red carpet fundraiser in celebration of the performing arts on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua will welcome award-winning musicians Eric Gilliom and Vince Esquire to its Kapalua Concert Series on Friday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 27, Maui Arts & Cultural Center again celebrates the musical tradition of Hawai’i’s famous four-string instrument at the 17th annual Maui ‘Ukulele Festival, a free Maui community music event in the A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion.

Seabury Pāʻina, a special celebration of the school’s 60th anniversary, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Seabury Hall’s Makawao campus.

The first-ever “Maui Music & Food Experience” at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center is bringing together a stellar cast of performers curated by legendary Chicago musician and Experience Music Director Nicholas Tremulis from Thursday, Sept. 5 though Sunday, Sept. 7.

Hua Momona Foundation has announced its musical lineup for the inaugural Maui Music & Food Experience, taking place from Sept. 5-7, 2024. The event will feature a host of acclaimed musicians, including special guest Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac. This multi-night celebration of music and culinary arts will raise crucial funding for food, housing and mental health support for survivors of the August 2023 Lahaina fire.

An elegant and impactful, new, coffee-table book titled MĀLAMA MAUI: Music Photography from Lahaina, has just been released. One hundred percent of the profits from sales of the book will be donated to the Maui United Way Fire Disaster Relief Fund.
