Award-winning Chef Sheldon Simeon is passing the reins to his chef de cuisine, MiJin Kang Toride, at Lineage Restaurant.

Best friends, surfers and chefs Jaron Blosser, Travis Morrin and Cody Christopher launched the restaurant in Kīhei’s Kalama Village back in 2010. 

The ranking was published on OpenTable, an online restaurants-reservation company. 

The second annual Four Seasons Maui Wine & Food Classic is set for Memorial Day weekend 2020.

The first customer in line, Frank Barboza of Kīhei, showed up at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, 16 hours ahead of opening.  He only recently experienced Jollibee during a trip to Oʻahu in April, and said he attempted to be the first at the Maui opening on a dare from his kids.

Jollibee, “Home of the Famous Chickenjoy” opens on Maui on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, according to a company announcement. The popular fast-food chain in the Philippines, opens its first Maui location at the Maui Marketplace in Kahului.

SixtyTwo MarcKet, owned by Chef Marc McDowell, has just opened its doors in historic Wailuku Town. The restaurant prides itself on providing farm-fresh food with a variety of cooking techniques and flavor profiles, to showcase the best of the season.
