Today, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced her decision to suspend her campaign for US President and offer backing to Joe Biden “in his quest to bring the country together.”

Councilmember Yuki Lei Sugimura has cancelled her monthly talk story event at the Upcountry Farmer’s Market that was scheduled today; and her campaign has cancelled a fundraiser that was scheduled for March 18. 

The Democratic Party of Hawai‘i Precinct, District, County, and State Conventions Delegate Elections take place tonight (March 4, 2020) at locations across the state. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meetings begin at 7 p.m.

In the 14-page complaint, Rep. The Office of Elections and the County Clerks of Hawaiʻi have sent out postcards to voters confirming their voter registration and announcing the transition to voting by mail beginning with the 2020 Elections.

The Office of the County Clerk on Maui will use the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku as a voter service center for the 2020 elections.
