Great Aloha Run Goes Virtual Again, Creating Participation Opportunities Near and Far
Since the event is virtual again this year, participants will be able to run the 8.15-mile foot race at any location they chose, at any time, from Feb. 18 to 21, 2022.

The first-round match between Mililani and Kamehameha-Maui in the HHSAA Division I Girls Volleyball State Championship has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 8, 3:30 p.m. at the Kamehameha School-Maui campus. The match was rescheduled due to campus closures and unsafe travel conditions as severe weather pounded Maui County causing flash flooding and power outages.

The World Surf League Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold Haleiwa Challenger, the final stop of the 2021 Challenger Series, is back ON with the men’s Quarterfinals starting at 8:05 a.m. HST in eight-to-ten foot swell at Haleiwa on Oʻahu. The Men’s Semifinals are on standby along with the women’s Round of 32.

The World Surf League Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold Haleiwa Challenger, the final stop of the 2021 Challenger Series, is back ON. The event resumed at 8:05 a.m. HST with the men’s Round 2 Heats 9-16 beginning the action in a 4-6 foot swell. Women are set to make their debut in Round 1 immediately following men’s action.

Loyola’s Brandon Berry and Team Kansas Earn 2021 Trophy at 2021 Kā‘anapali Classic
Loyola Maryland’s Brandon Berry was steady all three days and took home the individual trophy in the 2021 Kāʻanapali Classic – Collegiate Invitational with a 197 total (-16). Team Kansas pulled further ahead on Sunday and shot an impressive 268-262-70-800 (-52) for the 54-hole tournament, locking in their fourth consecutive team win this season.

It’s often said in golf that day two is “moving day” and there was quite a bit of movement on the leaderboard, Saturday. Carson Griggs of Denver shot an impressive 62 (-9) on the Royal Kāʻanapali Course to move up 12 spots going into the final round at 130 (-12).

Hugo Townsend of Boise State fired a 64 (-7), one stroke ahead of Loyola Maryland’s Brandon Berry (-6). Team Boise and Kansas both finished at 268 (-16) today after having solid rounds throughout their team. Team Colorado is three strokes off at 271 (-13).
