The 11th Bayanihan Food Distribution of the year will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Binhi at Ani Filipino Community Center in Kahului.

Help Bring Christmas Joy to Maui Keiki and Kūpuna in Need, Through Dec. 11

Maui County Federal Credit Union is partnering with The Salvation Army Angel Tree program to help keiki and kūpuna in need on Maui. From Nov. 15 through Dec. 11, 2021, individuals can pick-up Angel Tree tags at any of its branches in Kahului, Lahaina and Wailuku, purchase the requested gifts and then return it to the same branch with the tag.

The median price of a single family home on Maui in October was $932,500, up +7.5% from the same time last year. The median price for a condominium home was $672,500, up +13.2% over the same period.

Nov. 9, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 79 New Cases

There were 79 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Tuesday. The latest data represents a total of 1,526 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 6.7 per 100,000 today.

Maui Nui’s individual fundraising efforts resulted in a total of $1,203,000 being raised. These funds will be distributed to more than 200 nonprofits around the state with all funds raised in Maui County being distributed specifically to Maui County nonprofits.
