The Sentry gifts $747,000 to local nonprofits, supporting key initiatives in West Maui
Tournament officials announced today that The Sentry is contributing a tournament record $747,704 to local nonprofits, continuing to drive impact on Maui as a result of its 2025 event.
Lahainaluna High School Foundation awards more than $217,000 in scholarships for 2025
The Lahainaluna High School Foundation presented 89 scholarships to 55 seniors from the Class of 2025 totaling $217,750 in awards (including four-year renewables), while an additional 14 alumni will receive their renewable scholarships for the next academic school year totaling $79,000 for a grand total of $296,750 through the nonprofit foundation.

Scholarships awarded in honor of Lahaina fire victim, Clyde Wakida
The Clyde Wakida Scholarship Fund was established through donations from friends and family after the August fire. This year the Fund awarded five recipients, each receiving $2,000. Recipients were: Carla Mae Agrade, Judy Dela Cruz, Blessy Calapit, Cecelia Steiner and John Tumpap.
