First Tee – Hawaiʻi and Wailea Golf Club are teaming up to host a First Tee Family Day on Saturday, Aug. 30, celebrating the launch of First Tee classes at the Wailea course.

The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association raised over $54,000 for Maui high school graduates and college students on Friday during its annual golf tournament.

Wailea Golf Club will host the 2024 Women’s Golf Day at Wailea – an annual celebration of Women’s Golf Month and a benefit for the Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation – on June 28, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Wailea Blue Course.

Residents can join in the Father’s Day festivities with The Shops at Wailea’s Social Media Giveaway through Thursday, June 13, 2024.

For the third time, Wailea Golf Academy’s director of player development has been voted by his peers as Golf Digest’s best teacher in the state.

In appreciation of the many first responders who bravely fought the Maui wildfires and continue to assist with the island’s recovery, Wailea Golf Club is extending a special First Responders Mahalo offer for the entire month of October 2023.

West Maui’s golf courses are reopening after the recent wildfires as Kā‘anapali and Kapalua Golf, along with Wailea Golf Club in South Maui, remain unaffected by the fires.

The Wailea Golf and Tennis Clubs, along with the Chan Foundation, have pledged $125,000 in contributions to aid Maui’s wildfire disaster relief efforts, distributing the funds to five local nonprofits.

This summer, the Visitor Industry joined forces with The Salvation Army’s Adopt a Backpack Campaign to supply Maui’s keiki in need with school supplies for the upcoming school year. MHLA hotel properties and allied members successfully delivered the supplies requested in addition to $5,000 of monetary donations.

Wailea Golf Club professionals Marcus Judge, PGA, and Michael Taylor, PGA, received the Aloha Section PGA’s 2022 Player Development and Assistant Golf Professional of the Year awards, respectively.

The Maui-based Hawaiʻi Animal Rescue Foundation operates a 10-acre, no-kill facility where it provides shelter and care for its animals and provides a range of services including pet adoptions.

Hawaiʻi-based PGA Jr. League teams advanced to semi-final play at the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Regional at Wailea Golf Club this weekend, but failed to bring home the title. The California-based Redwood Empire Redwood 17u All-Stars took home the 17u Region 12 title, besting the Maui League 17u All-Stars.

At Wailea Golf Club in South Maui, nearly 200 all-star teams of junior golfers from four states will compete in the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Regional tournament on Sept. 2-4.

Golf Digest has bestowed two honors on the Wailea Golf Club and its learning center, the Wailea Golf Academy.

The contributions were collected on six consecutive Fridays in May and June. On those days, the Wailea Golf Club had pledged to make a cash donation for every paid round and gave merchandise discounts to customers who donated nonperishable food donations.

The Wailea Golf Club gifted more than $2,000 to the Hawaiʻi Animal Rescue Foundation. 

The Seabury Hall Alumni Association will host the 24th Seabury Hall Golf Tournament on Sat., September 8, 2018, at the Wailea Golf Club Emerald Course. Tournament proceeds support scholarships, Seabury Hall athletics, and alumni programs at Seabury Hall.
