Prince Kūhiō Maui Hoʻolauleʻa returns to Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, March 22

Queen Kaʻahumanu Center invites the community to join in honoring the legacy of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole at the Prince Kūhiō Maui Hoʻolauleʻa. The event takes place on Friday, March 22 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Center Court.

Hui Noʻeau presents solo exhibitions showcasing two Maui artists

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center is unveiling two concurrent solo exhibits by Maui artists Sachelle Dae and Zenobia Lakdawalla as part of the organization’s Solo Artist Exhibition series. An opening reception will take place at the Hui on Friday, March 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibitions will be on display from March 22 to May 17.

This month’s Kīhei 4th Friday Town Party will take place at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

Lahaina film ‘My Partner’ to screen at Lahainaluna High School, March 28

Lahainaluna High School will hold a free public screening of “My Partner” on Thursday, March 28 at the Lahainaluna Sue D. Cooley Football Stadium. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with the screening to begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Hawai‘i International Film Festival announces two events this spring on O‘ahu

For the first time, the Hawai‘i International Film Festival will present two festivals this spring on O’ahu. The 27th annual HIFF Spring Showcase presented by Halekulani will entertain film fans March 21-28; and the HIFF ‘Ōpio Fest, an inaugural youth film festival, will take place April 5-7.
