Contemporary artists based in Hawaiʻi are sought for a new, statewide juried biennial exhibition at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Schaefer International Gallery from July 5 to Aug. 26.

Grammy-nominated producer, singer/songwriter, and co-founder/CEO of Haku Collective, Kimié Miner, is set to bring her “Christmas in Hawai‘i: Kimié Miner & Friends Tour” to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16. The concert will also feature Kalani Peʻa, Nāpua Greig and Hālau Nā Lei Kaumaka O Uka with special guest, Paula Fuga.

SMALL TOWN * BIG ART partners County of Maui + Hale Hōʻikeʻike at the Bailey House / Maui Historical Society + Maui Public Art Corps will unveil a collection of film shorts that celebrate Maui County history, culture and sense of place.​ The unveiling of the Hui Mo‘olelo Film Fest will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 at Wailuku’s ʻĪao Theater.
