2025 Fourth of July Makawao Stampede results

Eleven year old Luana Fitch won the Junior Barrel competition at the Makawao Stampede rodeo, held over the weekend at the Oskie Rice Event Center. Her combined times (18.85 sec and 18.83 sec) in the junior event would have beat the open women’s championship times for the same category. Walsh and Mataʻafa Grove dominate at Western States Wrestling Championships

Two Maui wrestlers—Aukai Walsh and Taimane Mataʻafa Grove—earned the prestigious Triple Crown award at the USA Western States Wrestling Championships held in Pocatello, Idaho this past week.
