#Celebration of the Arts

The 33rd annual Celebration of the Arts will take place April 18-19, 2025, at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, marking the final year of the event. The cherished festival brings together artisans, educators, entertainers and cultural practitioners to honor and perpetuate Hawaiian traditions.

After more than 30 years as cultural advisor for The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, Clifford Naeʻole  joins Ledcor Maui as cultural advisor.

Renowned Hawaiian musician Weldon Kekauoha will headline the upcoming Music Showcase on Friday, March 29 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua as part of the 32nd annual Celebration of the Arts event.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua has announced the 32nd annual Celebration of the Arts – an opportunity for residents and visitors to embrace Hawaiian culture and traditions – taking place over Easter weekend, from March 29 through March 30.

Teressa Deneen Welolani Medeiros Noury of Lahaina, Maui earned the title in the 2023 Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Haʻihaʻi Falsetto Contest held Saturday at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.

Lahela Park, the first champion of the Hulu Lindsay Leo Haʻihaʻi contest held at the Celebration of the Arts at the Ritz Carlton, will perform a farewell concert at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, at the exclusive Lanai venue this Friday night, April 7, from 9-11 p.m. She will be previewing new music for an upcoming single release, during the concert.

An impressive feast of friendship, food, music, dance, and vocals will be on display at the much-anticipated Celebration of Island Tastes and Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha‘iha‘i Falsetto Contest.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua hosts the 31st annual Celebration of the Arts taking place at the resort from April 7-8, 2023.  Celebration of the Arts is Hawai‘i’s top arts and cultural festival celebrating authentic Hawaiian culture and traditions with more than 60 of the state’s top artisans, educators, cultural practitioners, speakers, and entertainers.  

Hāna’s own Lahela Lee Park of Kawaipapa won the inaugural Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha‘iha‘i Falsetto Contest, held Saturday night as part of the 30th annual Celebration of the Arts at the The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.

A falsetto singing contest and a “Celebration of Island Tastes” are part of the events occurring on April 16 at the newly renovated, open-air Aloha Garden Pavilion at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua hosts the 30th annual Celebration of the Arts from April 15-16, 2022. Celebration of the Arts is an arts and cultural festival celebrating the spirit of aloha through more than 60 of the state’s top artisans, educators, cultural practitioners, speakers, and entertainers. It is the only event of its kind in the Hawaiian Islands.

Following the April 2nd launch date, the event will continue to release new content on the second Friday of each month until next year’s 30th anniversary event.

The Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha’iha’i Falsetto Contest is being postponed until a later date due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The inaugural contest was set to take place at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua’s opening night at Celebration of the Arts Friday, April 10, 2020.

The inaugural Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Haʻihaʻi Falsetto Contest is planned as part of this year’s Celebration of the Arts event at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua.

The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua put focus on the growth of culture and awareness at the 27th annual Celebration of the Arts, a festival that sprouted from controversy.

The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is hosting their 27th Annual Celebration of the Arts on April 19 and 20, 2019.

Experience the food, arts and history of the multitude of cultures that call Maui home. Participate in outdoor or indoor activities unique to Maui.

The 26th annual Celebration of the Arts took place March 30 and 31, 2018 at The Ritz Carlton Kapalua, featuring a range of artists, craftspeople, cultural practitioners and musicians, along with a big dining event. Kiaora Bohlool was there.
