Interisland Travel Quarantine Guidance for Maui County

Maui County residents are reminded that the Governor has reinstituted the mandatory 14-day quarantine for any travel other than arrival on Oʻahu. The quarantine includes travel from Maui to Hawaiʻi Island or Kauaʻi, as well as travel to and from Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi.

Hawaiian Airlines to Resume Most US Mainland Routes in August

Hawaiian Airlines today announced it will resume a reduced schedule between Hawaiʻi and most of its US mainland gateway cities on Aug. 1, when the state of Hawai‘i begins welcoming travelers who choose to participate in a pre-travel COVID-19 testing program being developed.

The mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for interisland travelers was lifted today.  The state Department of Transportation reports that the transition has gone smoothly so far.

Anyone who does not provide the form or has a temperature of greater than 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to fly. The health information is collected prior to TSA security screening.

The Governor has granted the County of Maui’s request to reopen more businesses and activities on Monday, June 15, 2020. This includes bars which will be allowed to operate with modifications. *Note: football and rugby practices will not be allowed to start at this time. There will also be NO close contact activities, including but not limited to: huddles, high fives and handshakes.

Hawaiian Airlines Announces Kama‘āina Member Exclusive Sale
