A free electronic waste (e-cycling) drop-off event will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Maui Family YMCA Westside Resource Center in Lahaina.

In October 2023, the White Salmon-Bingen Rotary Club of Washington state provided funding for shelving, storage bins, and essential supplies for the conversion of a shipping container into a resource room for the Lahainaluna High School Athletic Department.

The Maluhia Maui Rotary Club will feature two presentations at its club meeting today, Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., highlighting perspectives from local business leadership and health education. The meeting will be held at South Maui Gardens by the Peace Pole.

Organization leaders with Aloha FurEver Pets Foundation will discuss expanding access to spay and neuter services on Maui during a Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset meeting.

Sacred Hearts School received a $15,000 grant in mid-November from the Hawaiʻi Rotary District 5000 Foundation Maui Fires Relief Fund to support the school lunch program for students in need. 

Three West Maui clubs—Kīhei Wailea, Lahaina Sunrise, and Lahaina Sunset—were recognized as Rotary Clubs of Excellence. Out of 47 clubs in District 5000, eleven received this honor from Rotary International as 2024-25 Clubs of Excellence, acknowledging their contributions to Rotary priorities and organizational goals. Notably, three of the awarded clubs are part of the Coastal Clubs of Maui.

The Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei Wailea is making it easier than ever to dispose of unwanted electronics with a community E-Cycle Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 8 to 11 a.m.

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, Maui Film Commissioner Brian Kohne will address the Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea, presenting on the topic of “Maui’s Nascent Motion Picture Industry.”

Melissa Eisenhart, Executive Director of ʻOhana Strong, will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025. The title of her presentation is “Kids grow. Clothes don’t.”

The Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei Wailea hosts an E- Cycle Fundraiser from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, to help safely dispose of old electronic devices while raising funds for local community projects. Club members will pick up unwanted electronics throughout the island of Maui as part of the event.

There will be two opportunities to hear from the YMCA about their new West Side Center and Partnership Park. The public is invited to either: the Rotary Club of Kīhei Wailea meeting on April 16 at 11:45 a.m. at the Kīhei Lutheran Church, 220 Moi Pl. in N. Kīhei; or the Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei-Wailea meeting on April 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the South Maui Gardens by the Peace Pole.

Maui Nui Marine Resource Council’s Jill Wirt is the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea’s upcoming meeting on April 9, 2025. Wirt will discuss the nonprofit’s Reef Friendly Landscaping Program.

Kīhei Rotarians mark 25 years of providing dictionaries to students on Maui. Today, Rotary clubs in Hawaiʻi give out thousands of dictionaries to third graders each year.

Interact provides young individuals between the ages of 12-18 the chance to contribute to their communities while broadening their global perspectives. Additionally, by joining as members—known as ‘interactors’—they can enhance their leadership abilities and gain insights about themselves and their peers within a supportive community.

Eight members of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset presented dictionaries to 60 third grade students at Princess Nāhiʻenaʻena Elementary School.

The Rotary Club of Kahului welcomes commercial realtor, Brian Rose to its weekly meeting on Monday, Sept. 24, 2024, from 12 to 1 p.m. He will speak on the current state and future of commercial real estate on Maui.

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset features Maui Disaster Program Manager for the American Red Cross, Jenny Worth at the organization’s July 2 meeting.

A special dinner reception hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Maui, which will feature the president and his wife, is set for Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Hale Paina Dining Facility on the Lahainaluna High School campus.

Maui residents are invited to attend a “Friendraiser” hosted by the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Kāʻanapali.

Collected supplies and funds will be taken to schools for children in need at Princess Nāhiʻenaʻena, Kamehameha III, Lahaina Intermediate and Hāna Schools.
