Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lukas Nelson will headline “Lōkahi: A Celebration of Maui” with Paul Simon, Stephen Wilson Jr., Lily Meola, the Maui Country Band, plus friends & family, for a benefit concert to support an initiative to address Maui’s shortage of healthcare professionals.

Developers have filed an environmental impact statement preparation notice for the Hoʻonani Village mixed-use development proposed for 1,600 residential apartment units near the old Puʻunēnē sugar mill on 166 acres off of Hansen Road in Kahului.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free admission.

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center will host comedian Jiaoying Summers as part of its “LOL@MACC” series at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in the McCoy Studio Theater.

Each December, the stage at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland, as the Alexander Academy Performing Company’s team of volunteers moves in with the sets and costumes for Maui’s beloved, full-length “Nutcracker” ballet.

More than 140 vendors will have a chance Friday to show their wares to about 2,000 wholesalers and shoppers from 1:30 to 6 p.m. in the “Buyers Preview and Exclusive Shopping Day” when tickets to enter are $36 per person and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the “Big Shopping Day” that is open to everyone, is expected to draw between 8,000 and 10,000 people with tickets priced at $9 per person.

For its fifth year in a row, Imua Family Services is once again hosting its annual Keiki Halloween Festival. The family-friendly fun runs from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
