Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents Vegas comedian Piff the Magic Dragon, March 22, 2025

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents a first-time appearance on Maui for Piff The Magic Dragon, a headliner of a successful Las Vegas show for nearly 10 years. As seen on America’s Got Talent and numerous other shows, Piff and his co-star Chihuahua, Mr. Piffles, will bring their one-of-a-kind act to Castle Theater Saturday, March 22, 2025. Pacific Media Group’s ‘Battle of the Businesses’ for Maui Food Bank raises 50,710 meals

This year, 23 businesses raised more than $8,800 and 1,761 pounds of food through the end of October, which combined will provide 50,710 meals to individuals and families across the Maui Food Bank’s network.

‘Uncle Bully’s Surf Skool’ documentary screens at Kāʻanapali Beach Resort on Nov. 20

Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter will host a free screening of Inflatable Film’s award-winning, 40-minute documentary, “Uncle Bully’s Surf Skool” on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. The documentary follows local Maui surf instructor Robert “Bully” Kotter and his mentorship of Lahaina’s under-served youth during the pandemic.

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents the Maui Showcase for the Hawai‘i International Film Festival (HIFF) with six feature films, one short film, and a collection of four ‘Made in Hawai‘i’ short films. All screenings will take place in the MACC’s McCoy Studio Theater starting Saturday, Oct. 19 and concluding Sunday, Oct. 20.

The 44th annual Hawai‘i International Film Festival (HIFF44) presented by Halekulani will showcase 92 feature films, 114 shorts, 40 world premiers and 31 US premieres across the islands from Oct. 3 to Nov. 10.
