As alleged in the Indictment[1]: From at least June 2019, and continuing to in or about January 2020, Arthur Brun (aka “Ata”), Maluelue Umu (aka “Malu”), Kelvin Kauwila Kai (aka “Kauwila”), Steven Keliikuli, Kaniu Huihui, Sheena Millare, Efren Yanos, Kirsten Makanoe Ayau (aka “Makanoe”), Orlando Manuchei (aka “Ole”), Robby Silva, Haidee Sueyasu and Phrystal Bacio, the defendants, and others known and unknown, co-spired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.

“The suspects under indictment today were identified as part of a major drug trafficking organization that has been supplying a significant amount of methamphetamine throughout the community,” said Chief of Police Todd G. Raybuck

Lori Vallow Daybell has no scheduled visits today at the Kauaʻi Community Correctional Center, however her new husband, Chad Daybell was allowed a one-hour visit yesterday afternoon, according to officials with the Department of Public Safety.

Maui police arrested and charged a Wailuku man with first degree arson and terroristic threatening after he allegedly attempted to set fire to his residence in ʻĪao on Thursday night.

A Kaua‘i judge today maintained bail for Lori Vallow Daybell at $5 million, and set a hearing for Monday March 2, 2020 at 9 a.m. in a missing children case that has garnered national attention. 

The Kaua‘i Police Department arrested 47-year-old Lori Vallow (a.k.a. Lori Daybell) of Idaho on Thursday in relation to an investigation being conducted by the Rexburg Police Department.

A federal jury today found a Wailuku man guilty of attempted enticement of a minor. The charges stem from an Oct. 11, 2017 incident in which the man was accused of exchanging messages with an individual “whom he believed was a 14 year-old girl.”

46-year-old Heather Glennon was arrested on Feb. 2 after allegedly assaulting 51-year-old Christopher Flanagan outside of the Lahaina McDonaldʻs.

A Lahiana woman was formally charged with second degree murder after the victim in an alleged assault died of injuries sustained in the incident. 

Three teens were arrested on suspicion of first degree terroristic threatening following a report on Tuesday morning, Feb. 4, 2020 in Central Maui.

Ralph Guarino, 51, of Lahaina, was arrested for second degree attempted murder following an incident on Front Street this morning that left another man with puncture-type injuries and lacerations.

Maui police responded to 11 burglaries, 6 vehicle thefts and 7 vehicle break-ins in Maui County from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1, 2020.

Maui police today identified the male victim in Saturday’s Pāʻia homicide investigation as 20-year-old Keenan Blair. Police say Blair and Allen knew each other, but say the reason for this incident is still being investigated.

Maui police arrested a 46-year-old Lahaina woman on suspicion of first degree assault and disorderly conduct for an incident on Sunday night that left a male victim with critical, life-threatening injuries.  

“Further checks revealed Kane was found to be Habitually Operating a Vehicle while Under the Influence of an Intoxicant (OVUII), a Class C Felony offense punishable by up to five years in prison,” said Lt. William Hankins, Commander of the Maui Police Department’s Traffic Division.

So far, investigation reveals that the victim and suspect knew each other. 

Maui police say William Douglas Allen has been located and arrested.  Police thanked the public for their assistance. Police are are conducing a Homicide type investigation and had temporarily closed the area of Holomua Road and Baldwin Avenue.
