Planet Fitness presented a $13,110 check to the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation in support of its Maui Strong Fund to help Maui wildfire survivors.

Proceeds from ticket sales for the Kaua‘i Poke Fest taking place on June 8 this year will support Maui wildfire survivors.

Grammy Award-nominated band 98 Degrees will headline a special concert to benefit ongoing Maui restoration efforts, following last year’s devastating fires that affected many historic churches, sacred sites and communities.

In the months following the devastating fires on Maui, Girl Scouts across the globe showed their support for island members through fundraising campaigns, cards and friendship bracelets. The donations, handwritten letters and pieces of art were distributed among affected troops on Maui.

Maui-based nonprofit organization, UVSC (Us Vs. Cancer), was recently selected by the well-known beauty brand, Thrive Causemetics, as a Giving Partner.

The Kokua Restaurant & Hospitality Fund for Maui will benefit from two “Experience the Magic of Napa Valley” fine-dining events Feb. 23-24, hosted by Chef Thomas Keller and Chef de Cuisine David Breeden, at the French Laundry at Hotel Wailea.

As part of its 12th annual Share the Love Event, Subaru Hawaiʻi has donated a combined $45,000 to Maui Food Bank, Maui Humane Society and Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi.

Kupu ‘Āina Corps, a program formed to restore lands and communities affected by the wildfires on Maui and Hawaii Island, is now accepting applications for participants and host sites. Participants may apply for paid, career-building experiences with additional benefits. Organizations engaged in wildfire recovery and resiliency efforts on Maui and Hawai’i Island may apply as host sites.

Beginning today, Honolulu Cookie Company is launching a special collection of Maui-focused products to support recovery efforts due to the August 2023 wildfires.

Bayer Hawaii has donated $50,000 for wildfire disaster recovery to three Maui nonprofits—$20,000 for the Lahaina Restoration Foundation and $15,000 each for Maui Economic Opportunity and Binhi At Ani.

Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Scholarship Committee announced that a total of $10,000 in scholarships will be available to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni for the 2024-2025 school year.

T-Mobile announced the latest recipients of the company’s Difference Maker program, providing $10,000 each to five nonprofit organizations in Hawaii and Washington that are making a difference in their communities. Maui Food Bank and Maui Strong Foundation are both recipients of this donation.

The funds provided 2,150 meals to the Maui community between Nov. 15 through Dec. 15, 2023, which included 250 Thanksgiving meals to registered Lahaina families within the burn zone, 600 meals to families and keiki at a Keiki Christmas Bash, and 1,300 meals to school students.

This week on Maui there are some major concerts—the legendary reggae band UB40 featuring singer-songwriter Ali Campbell, and the Maui Pops Orchestral performs Disney songs with Susan Egan and Adam Jacobs who originally performed the music. Plus, nationally known comedian Nick Swardson, and A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by Maui Jazz.

Hoʻoikaika Partnership, a coalition dedicated to preventing child maltreatment and strengthening families, has received a one-year grant from The Maui Strong Fund of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation.

The James Campbell Company, a Hawai‘i-based and nationally diversified real estate company, announced today that it has donated $125,000 to support Maui fire relief efforts.

The collective effort, called the “Maui Interim Housing Plan” commits to securing a pool of 3,000 housing units with 18-month commitments to provide a stable place for households displaced by the Maui fires, currently residing in short-term hotels.

To help support the recovery efforts in the Maui community, PUMA Golf has teamed up with local Maui artist, Wailani Artates, to design a Limited Edition “L” golf cap inspired by Lahainaluna High School’s “L” on the hill above the school.

Since the inception of the Laptop Relief Program, there has been an overwhelming response of nearly 1,000 applications from displaced Maui residents seeking replacement devices.
