Maui Electric crews are currently working to restore 300 customers in the Kaluakoi area of Moloka‘i this evening (Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018) after gusty winds and heavy rains from Tropical Storm Olivia left them without power on Wednesday.

Maui Electric crews are continuing restoration efforts on Moloka‘i today to bring approximately 700 customers on the East End and Kaluakoi area back online.

The Island of Maui is under a Flood Advisory until noon on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018.

All public schools and Hawaiʻi State Department of Education offices will be open today, Thursday, Sept. 13 except for Kilohana Elementary in Kaunakakai on Molokaʻi.
