Nā Mamo O Mū‘olea announced that the Hāna Limu Festival returns to Hāna Bay Beach Park at Kapueokahi on July 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 12th Hāna Limu Festival returns to its traditional Hāna Bay location for the first time since 2019.  

Surfer-singer Landon McNamara performs his reggae hits, an O’bon dance takes place in Pāʻia, a visiting jazz group plays Django Reinhart music at a youth music benefit, and actors portray Hawaiʻi historic figures. The 2023 Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pāʻū Parade and Hoʻolauleʻa will host a Pāʻū Queen for the first time in 10 years this Saturday, June 17, 2023, event organizers said. As the longest running event in West Maui, the parade will showcase eight pāʻū units, decorated vehicles and floats by Maui’s businesses and nonprofits, and will be led by the Royal Order of Kamehameha.
