The wāhine of Hula Hālau ʻO Kamuela under the direction of Kumu Kunewa Mook and Kauʻionālani Kamanaʻo won the overall title at the 62nd Annual Merrie Monarch Festival, in Hilo Hawaiʻi.

The Aloha Makena Foundation, in partnership with Mākena Golf & Beach Club, present the “Lau Ke Aloha: Kinolau Native Species Art Creation Day” on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Mākena’s Hale Pili. The exhibition runs from April 15 through June 13. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
