Maui Public Art Corps will begin a 2-week process of installing a large-scale mural on the exterior of Queen Ka’ahumanu Center’s west wing at the former home of Sears. 

From live music, to local pop-up shops, and pictures with Santa, there’s something for everyone at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center this holiday season. Here’s the holiday happenings through the end of December. 

Three time Grammy Winner Kalani Pe’a has released a new Christmas Album titled “Purple Hawaiian Christmas.” Along with the new release Pe’a will be taking his new music on tour to: Beaverton, Seattle, Berkeley, Honolulu, Kailua-Kona and the Kohala Coast on Hawaiʻi Island.

Tickets go on sale today for “Henry Kapono & the Songs of C&K,” featuring Henry Kapono and fellow musicians in a salute to the music of Cecilio & Kapono.

Seabury Hall hosts its Deck the Halls: A Holiday Concert, Dec. 2-3, 2022 at 7 p.m. at its ʻAʻaliʻikūhonua Creative Arts Center.

Back by popular demand, The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announced the return of Honolulu-based musician Tavana for a special concert on Nov. 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tumua Tuinei is one of Hawaiʻi’s top and hottest comics with more than 400,000 followers on social media.

Seabury Hall will host its Hall-iday event on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at its campus in Makawao. The event is free to the public with cash donations benefitting Maui United Way’s Toy Drive.

The 2022 Miss and Master Hula O Nā Keiki Overall Winners were Noah Kazuo Piʻimaiwaʻa Andrade and Lennon Aiko Kuʻualoha Nakada, both of Hālau Hiʻiakaināmakalehua under the direction of Robert Keʻano Kaʻupu IV and Lono Padilla.

Bonnie Raitt continues her “Just Like That… ” tour with a concert at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s A&B Amphitheater, Friday, March 31, 2023. Her special guest for the Maui show is John Cruz. Tickets go on sale to MACC members Nov. 15, and to the general public on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.

Miller received a $3,000 award and her image will be reproduced as a limited edition of 1,000 posters which will be sold online and at outlets throughout Lahaina.

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center’s annual Hui Holidays shopping event returns from Nov. 18 through Dec. 24, 2022. Hui Holidays will feature unique gifts from over 70 local artists and vendors.

The auction’s proceeds will benefit the Pacific Cancer Foundation, Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children and the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.
