Hawaiʻi has two of the top ten destinations for travelers this holiday, according to data collected from AAA Travel bookings.

Fourth Detection of Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death on O‘ahu

State officials have confirmed a fourth detection of Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death on the island of O‘ahu. The discovery was made during an aerial survey of some 20,000 acres of forest in the Moanalua Section of the Honolulu Watershed Forest Reserve above Tripler Army Medical Center.

Traffic Alert: Accident on Ka‘ahumanu Avenue, Kahului

Emergency responders are on the scene of a traffic accident on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in Kahului.  The accident was reported before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 near the Kahului Beach Road intersection.  Wailuku bound lanes are blocked and motorists are using Kahului Beach Road as a detour around the scene.  Motorists can expect delays in the area.
