Maui Prep to host fourth annual Pueo Invitational Girls Volleyball Tournament
Maui Preparatory Academy is set to host the fourth annual Pueo Invitational Girls Volleyball Tournament from August. 14-16, 2025, at the Bozich Center for Athletics and Performing Arts. This tournament will bring together eight high school teams from across Hawaiʻi and California for three days of competition.

The school is currently hiring part-time Theater and Music teachers for grades K–5. They are looking for educators that are passionate about inspiring young learners through performance, music, movement and storytelling.
Construction Industry of Maui donates $75,000 in scholarship funds to high school seniors
The Construction Industry of Maui awarded three students each a $25,000 scholarship to encourage education towards a career in the construction industry. The Bob Poulson Scholarship encourages Maui students to pursue a degree in the construction and design industry, away from Maui, then bring their acquired knowledge, skills and local hearts back to Maui to serve their communities. This year’s scholarship recipients are seniors, Macie Madaus, Kai Shively and Karissa Chapman.

33 pass MIL Surf Coaches Certification Clinic
The 12th annual Maui Interscholastic League Surf Coaches Certification Clinic had a record number of participants. Thirty-three coaches passed the clinic after completing an open ocean swim, and a program that included ocean risk assessment, ocean rescue, lifesaving techniques, CPR and first aid.
