Police renew request for assistance in finding woman who went missing on Maui in 2019

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Khiara Lavinia Henry. She was reported missing on the island of Maui in late July 2019; however, her family recently received a tip of a possible sighting of her in Pāhoa town on Jan. 13, 2023.

Elton Ignacio, 40, of Kahului, was last seen leaving his residence on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at approximately 8 a.m., driving away in a gray Nissan Frontier pickup truck bearing Hawaiʻi license plate #LKN573.

Missing Person: Hāna Woman Last Seen Thursday Night

The Maui Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating Valerie Park, 83, of Hāna, Maui. Police say Park may have hitchhiked to the Kahului or Wailuku area.

UPDATE/LOCATED: Missing Man Last Known to be Living in Wailuku

Update: (4:27 p.m. 5.29.20) Maui Police issued an update this afternoon saying Kody Genovia was located and is in good health. Previous Post: Kody Genovia, 27, was last known to be residing in the Wailuku area and last had contact with his family in February or March of 2020.  

Search Suspended for Missing 6-Year-Old Benjamin “Benny” Rapoza

Benjamin “Benny” Rapoza was last seen at a residence in the 2100 block of Kalanianaole Street at around 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019. Benjamin is described as 3-feet tall, weighing about 50 pounds, with a slim build, short brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a diaper.

FBI Offering $20,000 Reward in 2016 Missing Person Case

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the disappearance of Jonathan Fraser, a 23-year-old man who was last seen on July 30, 2016 at his Hawaiʻi Kai apartment.

Missing Person: Recent Arrival Last Seen in Kahului

David Alex, 20, was last seen on Nov. 7, 2016 at approximately 10 a.m. in Kahului, Maui. He was reported missing two days later.
