Maui Police Launch Murder Investigation into Death of Man in Lahaina
Maui police have launched a second degree murder investigation into the death of a man found unresponsive on a side street in Lahaina on Thursday morning. Upon arrival to 535 Waineʻe Street, Lahaina Patrol Officers found the man on the shoulder side of the roadway. Police say it was reported the male appeared to have been assaulted and was bleeding.

The Maui Police Department continues their search for John Kahalehoe III, who also goes by the name of “John Boy.” Authorities say he is wanted for several outstanding felony arrest warrants. Kahalehoe is described as 27-years-old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
