MACC’s ‘Local Voices’ series presents Justin Kawika Young in concert, Aug. 23

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents singer/songwriter Justin Kawika Young in a MACC “Local Voices” concert in the McCoy Studio Theater Friday, Aug. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale online only at 10 a.m. to MACC members Tuesday, July 23 and to the general public Friday, July 26.

2024 Emma Farden Sharpe Hula Festival, Aug. 17

The 2024 Emma Farden Sharpe Hula Festival takes place on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center. The event features free keiki activities, workshops, Hawaiʻi made artisans and hula accompanied by Hawaiian music.

‘Spring Awakening’ kicks off ProArts Playhouse’s 2024-25 theatrical season

The Sewing Hui collaborates with Maui OnStage for the production of Seussical

Most recently, The Sewing Hui collaborated with Maui OnStage for their production of the musical Seussical, based on the works of Dr. Seuss. This production runs from July 12 to Aug. 4, 2024 at the Historical ‘Īao Theater in Wailuku. Costume Director Jennifer Oberg led the passionate team of volunteers in creating a unique costume wardrobe for this whimsical production.

Theatre Theatre Maui hosts Lahaina summer youth production – Mean Girls Jr., July 18-21

Theatre Theatre Maui (TTM) announced their summer youth performance schedule of Mean Girls Jr., sponsored by Wave of Harmony Foundation. Shows will be held July 18, 19, 20 and 21 in Lahaina on the campus of Lahaina Intermediate School in their Cafeteria. Showtimes are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
