As members of The Stylistics continue their journey to perform a concert on Maui Saturday, Sept. 3, Love is looking forward to stirring similar emotions as they sing their memorable top 10 Billboard hits, including “You Make Me Feel Brand New” and “You Are Everything,” “I’m Stone in Love with You,” and “Bet You By Golly Wow.”

The Maui Academy of Performing Arts begins its Living Room Theatre Series with the production of “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani.

Maui’s Lily Meola returns to the stage for the live show portion of America’s Got Talent. She’ll be in the fourth of five live shows, with the series returning on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Waiʻehu, Maui native’s first book of poetry is based on her dissertation which explores how aloha is possible in the face of colonization and sexual violence. Written primarily in English, Revilla’s 141-page poetry collection also features ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language), which at times, better expresses some of her deepest thoughts and feelings.
