Maui police said they arrested an individual this week in connection to multiple home break-ins but provided few details, including the name of the suspect.

Two men suffered injuries in an alleged assault reported early Saturday morning in Māʻalaea, police said. The victims, a 24-year-old Kīhei man and a 62-year-old Lahaina man were allegedly assaulted by a group of three to four unknown males near Slip 22 at Māʻalaea Boat Harbor.

The Maui Police Department is asking for the Public’s assistance in locating John Kahalehoe III. Kahalehoe is wanted on two warrants for allegations that include: second degree assault, first degree criminal property damage, fourth degree arson and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
