The Construction Industry of Maui hosts its annual fundraiser dinner to benefit the Bob Poulson Scholarship Fund on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Wailea Beach Resort & Spa.

The Construction Industry of Maui has announced that its annual golf tournament raised nearly $65,000 to support construction trade programs in Maui County high schools.

The Construction Industry of Maui will host its third annual golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27 at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course, with proceeds supporting construction vocational programs for high school students in Maui County. Last year, CIM raised $65,000.

The Construction Industry of Maui awarded three students each a $25,000 scholarship to encourage education towards a career in the construction industry. The Bob Poulson Scholarship encourages Maui students to pursue a degree in the construction and design industry, away from Maui, then bring their acquired knowledge, skills and local hearts back to Maui to serve their communities. This year’s scholarship recipients are seniors, Macie Madaus, Kai Shively and Karissa Chapman.

The Construction Industry of Maui is now accepting applications from graduating Maui high school students, for its annual Bob Poulson CIM Scholarships. The deadline for the essay and application is May 2.

The Construction Industry of Maui announced that its annual golf tournament raised $65,000 to support construction trade programs in Maui County high schools. The Construction Industry of Maui made a $4,500 gift to Maui Economic Opportunity’s program that supports individuals recently released from incarceration – the fourth annual donation made to the program by the trade council.

The Construction Industry of Maui today announced that it donated $26,000 to Maui High School this past week to benefits its high school construction vocational programs. The funds raised at CIM’s first annual golf tournament last September, a total of $50,500, includes the $26,000 disbursement to Maui High School. The second annual golf tournament is scheduled for Sept. 28 at The Dunes Maui Lani Golf Course.

The Construction Industry of Maui raised more than $70,000 during its inaugural golf tournament held at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Maui Economic Opportunity’s program that assists individuals released from jail and prison by helping them to reintegrate into society, received $4,550 donations from the Construction Industry of Maui and three other attendees of the group’s scholarship banquet Wednesday. 

Congratulations to Maui Preparatory Academy’s Yuna Lee and Lahainaluna High School’s Jaysen Akahi-Vida! They are the recipients of the prestigious Bob Poulson Scholarship from the Construction Industry of Maui. Each was awarded $32,500 in scholarship funds.
