Rotary sponsors food drives for Maui Food Bank

In collaboration with the Maui Food Bank, eight Maui Rotary clubs will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Maui Food Bank. The drive is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of food and funds will help provide safe and nutritious food to anyone in Maui County who is at risk of going hungry.

Second Lahaina sign that was stolen has since been recovered and will be reinstalled

The second of two Lahaina Gateway signs that were stolen shortly after the August wildfires, was returned to the Lahaina Restoration Foundation on Friday. It was found cut into three pieces, but executives say they are able to piece the sign together and will reinstall it in West Maui.

One of two stolen Lahaina signs is returned

One of the two stolen large redwood Lahaina signs was returned last week following reports of community dismay and a plea to get the signage back where it belongs, according to the Lahaina Restoration Foundation.

Snow Zone returns to Lahaina, Dec. 9

The Snow Zone is made from 5,000 pounds of flaked ice, so shoes or rain boots are recommended. There is a timed entry and the area is restricted to keiki 12 years and younger.
