In celebration of March’s National Noodle Month Lineage Maui at The Shops at Wailea is sharing it’s popular Garlic Noodles recipe. Chef de Cuisine Mijin Toride has prepared the recipe for Lineage fans who want to recreate this dish at home.

The search for a missing swimmer in Hāna continued today with no findings, the Maui Fire Department reports. Crews will continue searching until nightfall today, and will resume at first light tomorrow if the man remains missing.

At 8:18 a.m., a band of heavy rainfall was moving east at 15 mph over central Maui. Rainfall was widespread with some rain rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour from Spreckelsville to Huelo and over the West Maui Mountains. Flash flooding is occurring or expected to begin shortly.
