The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is getting ready to serve up a menu of “magical moments” with culinary, wine and music events during next month’s 43rd annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival.

The May Kīhei 4th Friday town party will take place at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka, the “Heart and Soul” of Kīhei, on Friday, May 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Coming up fast are the Kīhei 4th Friday free admission block party, an opening art reception at Hui Noʻeau, and NBC’s “The Voice” Season 24 finalist Jason Arcilla and The Mad Steppas performing at da Playground.

Maui musician, Kamalei Kawaʻa, is among those who auditioned for Season 25 of NBC’s “The Voice,” he announced via his social media platforms on Thursday.

On Maui coming up within a week, there are free concerts by Island Style songwriter John Cruz, The Voice finalist Jason Arcilla, and the Hawaiʻi Youth Symphony with Amy Hānaiali’i. Also, the touring Pan Asian Chamber Jazz Ensemble performs. Check out Maui Now’s top 20 list here.

This week on Maui there are some major concerts—the legendary reggae band UB40 featuring singer-songwriter Ali Campbell, and the Maui Pops Orchestral performs Disney songs with Susan Egan and Adam Jacobs who originally performed the music. Grand Wailea hosts an intimate sunset performance and evening of music for all ages on Friday, Dec. 22 from 6 to 10 p.m. The festivities will begin with music by Hawaiian reggae band Inna Vision, followed by a special performance from NBC-TV’s “The Voice” Season 24 contestant Jason Arcilla of Maui, as well as fellow contestant Kaylee Shimizu of Oʻahu.

Grand Wailea holds a special Holiday Marketplace and Tree Lighting Ceremony this Sunday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. 

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua has joined forces with music industry leader Sony Music Publishing Nashville, and production company Renate Event & Design, to host the 2024 Maui Songwriters Festival from Jan. 6–13, 2024.
