Whalers Village is hosting a Summer Vibes Block Party for kamaʻāina and visitors, running from July 1 through July 31.

The Jazz Maui 2024 Maui Music Series announced details of its fifth annual Jazz Blues & Beyond Festival.

The Jazz Maui 2024 Maui Music Series presents the 25th Annual King Kekaulike High School Spring Concert, on Thursday, April 11, in the Castle Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The concert spotlights the Kekaulike Wind Ensemble and Kekaulike Choir along with Nā Ali’i Big Band featuring special guest saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz-Brown. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

This week on Maui, events include performances by former SNL comedian Leslie Jones, a Kīhei Fridays block party, a fundraiser for Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center, and a night with Hawaiʻi songwriters Keola Beamer, Henry Kapono and Anthony Pfluke. Coming Soon: The Billboard hitmaker Iration, and Grammy Award winning reggae icon Black Uhuru.

This week on Maui, there’s major tribute concerts to Jimmy Buffet with Jake Shimabukuro and songwriter Mac McAnnaly, and a Willie K Tribute by Makana. There’s also events celebrating Mardi Gras, Valentines Day, Chinese New Year and a football viewing for the weekend.

This week on Maui, there are concerts by Nashville songwriters and Grammy-nominated reggae singer Pato Banton, as well as Will Evans, Brother Noland in a Slack Key Show, and the Kīhei Fridays event. Coming Soon: A concert by country singer Brett Young.

This week on Maui there are some major concerts—the legendary reggae band UB40 featuring singer-songwriter Ali Campbell, and the Maui Pops Orchestral performs Disney songs with Susan Egan and Adam Jacobs who originally performed the music. Jazz Maui founder Bryant Neal has been involved in helping to organize music workshops for Maui youths for more than two decades. His latest nonprofit project is a weekly Jazz Maui venue featuring jazz artists in the Sunset Jazz Series at Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory, including those who volunteer with students at workshops in schools.
