Update: Bicyclist succumbs to injuries from vehicle crash in Kīhei

Update: On Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries and died while at Maui Memorial Medical Center. The bicyclist is identified as Richard Holland, 79, of Kīhei.
