Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union currently is holding its annual preschool supply drive for the children of Maui Economic Opportunity’s Head Start. The drive runs through July 7. Supplies may be dropped off at the credit union’s branches in Kahului (160 Paʻahana St.), Wailuku (69 N. Market St.) and Lahaina (40 Kupuohi St., Ste. 102).

The Stupski Foundation recently awarded Maui Economic Opportunity a $450,000 grant to support programs and services for prenatal to 5-year-old children, their parents and caregivers.
MEO accepts H-HEAP utility credit applications June 1-30 countywide
The annual Hawaiʻi Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP), which offers credits on utility bills for income-qualifying households, will accept applications between June 1 and June 30 at Maui Economic Opportunity offices in Wailuku, Hāna, Lānaʻi City and Kaunakakai, Molokaʻi.
