16th Annual Maui ʻUkulele Festival, Oct. 8

Maui Arts & Cultural Center again celebrates the musical tradition of Hawai’i’s famous four-string instrument at the 16th annual Maui ‘Ukulele Festival, a free Maui community music event on Sunday, Oct. 8, in the A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 3 p.m.

Hui Noʻeau & East Maui Watershed Partnership Present Mālama Wao Akua 2023

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center in collaboration with East Maui Watershed Partnership hosts the 19th annual Mālama Wao Akua – a juried art exhibition celebrating the native species of Maui Nui. This special exhibition will be on display in the Hui’s gallery space now through Nov. 3. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. with free admission.
