Seabury Hall will be hosting an inaugural event, Maunalei Giving Day, a virtual fundraiser combined with a drive-through Mother’s Day Marketplace, on Saturday, May 8, 2021. The new event is named in part for the school’s campus, Maunalei.

The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center will host Zoom presentations, one on Feb. 13 with Violet Harada and Claire Sato, editors of the book “A Resilient Spirit: The Voices of Hawaiʻi’s Internees,” and the other on Feb. 18 with Takeshi Nakayama, who was interned with his family in the Rowher Arkansas Internment Camp.

MACC Announces Call To Artists For Schaefer Portrait Challenge 2022
Maui Arts and Cultural Center postponed the application and jurying dates for its triennial exhibition, “Schaefer Portrait Challenge,” from 2021 to this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
