Four more players have committed to play in the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions: 2022 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau, Max Homa and Sam Burns.

At the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions, for every one adult admission two kids age 15 or under can get in free.

With less than 35 days remaining before one of the most accomplished fields in golf arrives at The Plantation Course at Kapalua for the Sentry Tournament of Champions from Jan. 4-8, the tournament is teaming up with Mauna Loa to provide kamaʻāina tickets at special prices.

The final games of the 2022 Maui Jim Maui Invitational basketball tournament take place today at the Lahaina Civic Center in West Maui.

Maui teen, Reagan James Miles, has earned a spot in the 2023 Callaway World Junior Championship. 

Competitors will have to deal with in-form Hawaiʻi/Tahiti Nui competitors making their way fresh off a Sunset Pro presented by HIC event. The recent runner-up Nora Liotta (HAW), current Hawaii/Tahiti Nui No. 1 Moana Jones Wong (HAW), No. 2 Puamakamae DeSoto (HAW), Sunset Pro Finalists Eweleiula Wong (HAW) and Brianna Cope (HAW), and more are on the hunt for big results of their own.

Maui’s own Billy Kemper earned the runner-up spot in the men’s final, with fellow Valley Isle competitor, Kai Paula earning a fourth place finish.

When action resumes, the men’s Round of 32 will feature renowned phenom Jackson Dorian (HAW) taking on an in-form Luke Tema (HAW), Diego Ferri (HAW), and Rylan Beavers (HAW) in Heat 1.
