Maui Hospital Begins Universal Testing, Single Person on Maui with COVID-19 in Home Quarantine

As of yesterday, there are no COVID-19 cases at the Maui Memorial Medical Center, and there is currently only one person in home quarantine with the virus, according to new information provided today by Maui Mayor Michael Victorino. Also, starting today, the Maui Memorial Medical Center begins universal testing for COVID-19 on all patients admitted through the Emergency Department and Obstetrics patients.

1 New COVID-19 Case on O‘ahu: Hawai‘i Total Now 676

There was one new COVID-19 case reported on Oʻahu today, pushing the statewide count to 676 cases in Hawaiʻi over the course of the pandemic.  This comes after a surge in cases over the weekend on Oʻahu. To date, 618 people (93.7%) have recovered including 113 in Maui County. There are currently 41 active cases in the state.

2 New COVID-19 Cases on O‘ahu: Hawai‘i Total Now 675

There were two new COVID-19 cases reported on Oʻahu today, pushing the statewide count to 675 case in Hawaiʻi over the course of the pandemic.  This comes after two consecutive days (on Friday and Saturday) in which the state Department of Health reported nine additional COVID-19 cases in Hawaiʻi.  To date, 617 people (93.7%) have recovered including 113 in Maui County.
