Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pāʻū Parade and Hōʻolauleʻa Committee announced Clifford Naeʻole as the Grand Parade Marshal for the 2025 celebration, set to take place on Saturday, June 21, along Kaʻahumanu Avenue in Kahului beginning at 9:45 a.m.

The event will benefit the Hawai‘i Land Trust and the Lahaina Community Land Trust, two organizations working to protect land and support community-rooted stewardship on Maui and across the islands.

The aerial celebrations will feature Blue Hawaiian Helicopters dropping fresh, locally sourced flower petals over Outrigger resorts in Kona, Kā‘anapali and Kaua‘i on Friday, July 4.

Maui Ocean Center will celebrate World Ocean Day with family-friendly activities including live music, educational stations and marine naturalist presentations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8.

At Outrigger Kāʻanapali Beach Resort, the month kicks off on May 31 with ocean limu planting in Waiheʻe in partnership with the Maui Ocean Center.

Maui Ocean Center will host Camp Kainani, a new summer day camp for children ages 7 to 14, during four sessions in June and July.

The 153rd Annual King Kamehameha Day holiday will be observed with festivities statewide. This year’s celebration theme is “E Hoʻomau – Celebrating Mary Kawena Pukui.” On Maui, Nā King Kamehameha Commemorative Pāʻū Parade and Hoʻolauleʻa will take place on June 21, 2025.

Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa will celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with a series of events including a special brunch, spa packages and an evening lūʻau in Kā‘anapali.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announced Kamaʻāina Season. Throughout May and June, Hawaiʻi residents are invited to experience the resort with exclusive offers and events.

Aloha Maui Pride has announced the 2025 Pride Month Events June 1-14, with many activities for the first two weeks in June leading up to the Maui Pride Festival 2025, held in partnership with the Maui AIDS Foundation on June 14.
