Avis-Budget car rental outlet opens at Maui Mall Village 

An Avis-Budget rental office has opened at Maui Mall Village, giving kamaʻāina and visitors a convenient alternative location for all their car rental needs on the Valley Isle. The outlet, which features a full-service rental counter, is located next to IHOP and Crystal Dreams. Rental cars may be picked up from and returned to reserved stalls conveniently located in the Maui Mall Village parking lot.

Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya opens first location on the Valley Isle 

Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya opened its fifth Hawaiʻi location at Maui Mall Village recently, bringing its flavorful menu of ramen, rice bowls, and izakaya dishes to Maui. Located near Center Court, next to Genki Sushi, across from the Regal Cinemas Maui Mall, the new restaurant has seating for up to 40 guests. A soft opening is underway with the official grand opening set for Jan. 6, 2025.

Following a five-year hiatus, the Maui Okinawan Festival returns to the Maui Mall Village on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kamaʻāina and visitors can savor Okinawan food while enjoying high-energy music and dance, cultural displays with live demonstrations and interactive activities and shopping at the festival’s craft fair featuring Maui and Oʻahu vendors.

Maui Mall Village today announced that Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open at the center in early fall 2024. The restaurant, which operates four locations on Oʻahu, offers fresh, gourmet and affordable Japanese ramen and bar-style dishes. It serves traditional flavors in a chic modern environment with an array of options, from build-your-own ramen to a selection of signature dishes. Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open near Center Court with seating for about 40 guests.
